About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a Specialization in Health Psychology and a Certification in Perinatal Mood Disorders. I received my Master’s in Clinical Gerontology from the University of South Florida in 1987. In 1994 I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology, graduating from Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine.

In my clinical practice I work with adults and older adults addressing issues of depression, anxiety, grief and trauma. I have extensive training in helping individuals manage chronic illness and I also specialize in treating pre and post partum depression and anxiety. I also have expertise in domestic violence. I take an integrative approach to therapy and use mindfulness techniques and mind-body work. My style is warm, authentic and compassionate.
